We explored options for a stone patio for a several months before we connected with Mark Somani at Blue Circle Contractors. Mark introduced us to a range of design options, materials, and with attention to the look and feel we wanted in our backyard. We selected stone from Oaks Concrete Products. The installation had to be coordinated with other contractors (deck construction, tree removal). The project came together beautifully. Mark brought his crew in soon after the site had been cleared of old structures. Installers were excellent on site. They built a wall, around the perimeter and filled in with sand, packed hard and smooth, upon which the stone was laid with precision. The quality of the workmanship was gratifying to watch, and it was clear that they take great pride in it. We are very pleased with the result and do not hesitate to recommend them to our friends. Backyard landscaping We had Blue Circle back to re-landscape our backyard after they had done a great job on our waterproofing. I was particularly impressed with 2 things – they were fast and paid attention to detail. This was a big project: removal of the old, rebuilding a retaining wall, sitting wall, natural stone patio, hard and soft scape and re-grading. The whole crew was in and out in a week – no fooling around. Also the attention to detail: I watched one of the guys laying a stone 5 times before he was satisfied (it looked fine to me after the first time). Landscaping of entire property after major home renovation It’s a rare occasion for me to go out of my way to write, let alone ask a service person how best I can tell others about their company after having services rendered. My experience with Mark and Blue Circle Contracting would be one of those times. We hired them to complete a full landscaping of our home after our renos. They were not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, and I felt confidence in that as I have experienced, like most, that you get what you pay for. To put it simply, my experience and the quality of the job was excellent. They were on time, on budget and very pleasant to deal with. Mark came by everyday to review the work done, to answer questions and discuss changes if required. Our landscaping estimated to last 7 days however they did it in 5 days. Restoration of front entrance (staircase/retaining wall) Good work is a given but working around the clients schedule and delivering exactly what and when you promise (and then some) is what makes a company one that I would highly recommend. Front yard landscaping We first contacted Blue Circle Contracting in April of 2012. Asking around in our community, this company was one that had done many landscaping projects in our neighbourhood, and came very highly recommended. Backyard landscape makeover with custom wood structure Blue Circle took the pain out of a challenging task. Their work crews are a pleasure to be around. They start and finish on time.
